Connector Errors - Microsoft CSP
Below are common Microsoft CSP Connector errors you may encounter in CloudBilling. Click on an error to view its cause and the steps to resolve it.
Failed to create subscription usage meter reading results for a customer: no commerce relationship with the customer
+
Cause: CloudBilling sends requests to Microsoft to retrieve all tenants connected to the authorized connector account in the Connector settings. When a customer is offboarded, they may still appear in the list provided by Microsoft. This can cause CloudBilling to generate an error indicating that the customer exists but is not connected to the authorized account in CloudBilling.
Solution:
- Make sure that this customer is offboarded in Azure Partner Center
- Suspend the customer in CloudBilling
Customer is mapped but does not contain currency data and will be ignored.
+
Cause: Similar to the previous error, the customer appears in Microsoft's list but is no longer connected to the master account. As a result, CloudBilling recognizes the customer's existence but cannot retrieve currency data for them.
Solution:
- Make sure that this customer is offboarded in Azure Partner Center
- Suspend the customer in CloudBilling
Maintenance failed: Could not retrieve price sheet.
+
Cause: CloudBilling generates Microsoft CSP products and pricing based on its pricing sheets. However, the price sheet may not be available on the first day of the month.
Solution: No action required. Connector will run without an error by the following day.
